The story begins with a shiny Sunday morning, when my mother "obliged" me to go jogging. I hate it especially when it comes to sports running. More ! It was at 8.00 am... In this beautiful day, I suggest my mother that we should hang out a little bit as it was nearly the end of the winter vacation and because I didn't go out for these 2 weeks. Sometimes I want to hang out with my mother when the weather is kind of sunny. We don't have really time to go out like this with my mother so I'm enjoying every moment I spend with my mother, my precious lovely mother. I have only her in my life. Therefore, I decided to take my mom out to Paris, near the Champ Élysées. It was pretty cold but sunny... Well, yes, France has a weird weather and I'm wondering why a weather like this one... (the science, perhaps, could explain the reason why... - I'm a scientific student! - ). Anyways, I was doubtful about the place we should have gone to. Perhaps the Musée de L'Orangerie or just visiting the Champs Élysée's long avenue... I asked many times to my mother which place she wanted to visit but she told me "I'm following you. If you want to go to a place, I'm cool with it. As long as you're happy at the end of this day." She's so nice with me... Finally, I decided to go to the Musée de L'orangerie (thanks to my wonderful cousin who went there once and posted photos on Instagram which I found really stunning). Fortunately, for people under 26, the entrance is free or else, you have to pay 10€... The first floor we visited was the Claude Monet's paintings. These are called "Water Lilies" (les Nymphéas) and were installed in the museum after his death. The real "Water Lilies" can also be seen at his house and garden in Giverny (Claude Monet's Fondation). I wanted to visit these because I found it very wonderful as he's the best painter among all of those I've seen in my life in the Louvre Museum (near this museum by the way). Nobody could have made more beautiful paintings than his. After visiting Claude Monet's painting, we decided to go downstairs (at the basement) to see other paintings, not as big as Claude Monet's but little hung along the wall. These weren't as lovely as those we saw in the vestibule but it was interesting to see and to discover new artists. Well, they love fruits as we can see... I can't imagine how long it took the artists to paint all of these perfect and lovely paintings... Perhaps many days, years (if perfectionists). Address : Jardin Tuileries, 75001 Paris
